I've been having issues finding the right headset lately.  I've got a Motorola S9 that I enjoy using while I work, but it pretty much sucks for anyone who calls and has to try and make out what I'm saying.  I've got another headset from Insignia that is A2DP bluetooth that works really well, but I wear glasses and it isn't very friendly with those.  So I need an earbud style headset that I can connect to my bluetooth adapter that will connect to my phone.  Any 3.5mm headset works fine.  It can't have anything that goes over the ears though, because my glasses would be in the way.  I saw a set somewhere that had a nifty way of hanging around the neck so you could pull the buds out and they would just sort of dangle off your shoulders.  I'd be interested in finding that one again.

I have a detailing business that I work half the year and I've been enjoying listening to music while I work.  It is important that I find something that isolates noise while still being comfortable to wear.  Any suggestions that you guys have would be great!  Thanks!

I have a blueant Z9 v1.0.  works fine, you can use the over the ear hook or just plug in your ear.  Has noise cancellation software and voice modification so that when people can't hear you, you can change it.

There's a new motorola headset out that has noise cancellation also and plugs in your ear like a fontopod.

Ebay is great. I got 2 blueants for 100 bucks.

If you want to compare go to Cnet.com, click on the reviews tap and type in bluetooth.
Finally, you can order the fontopod style headset that is listed on this site.  Look thru the threads, you'll see the add.

I'm strongly considering the Z-Buds that are advertised here.  Does anybody have any experience with them?  I'm going to go out and shovel snow and give my S9 another shot.  It works great for listening to music, but it sucks if I have to talk to someone.  It sort of got warped though, so I wonder if that is the problem...  I've seen a couple other similar designs that fold and that would save them from getting bent in my bag.  Samsung has an interesting one like that.

I'm trying to avoid the full on headphone style.  I just need ear buds.  I really like the Zagg set, but yeah... that is pretty expensive for something like that.  I'd love to try them, but I wouldn't want to be married to them if they don't work out.

I've read bad reviews on some of the Samsung headsets.  The one similar to the motorola S9 got really crappy reviews.  They are uncomfortable and difficult to use from what I've read.  I'd get the S9 again if I had to and just treat them better this time around.  Just make sure you are getting the genuine version of them.  There are knockoffs out there that come packaged and branded as Motorola, but they are nothing like the genuine one.  Copyrights mean nothing in China, so you just really have to watch out for copycats.

Just got me and my wife some samsung sbh650 stereo headsets. Im lovin them, I have a habit when I get me and my wife a new phone I get the same brand bluetooth set to go with it. You guys and gals got to check them out online. I got them from expansy's but its a big mistake from them because the charger is a europe socket plug. So thinking a good price in saving I ended up buying adapters from radio shack since I couldnt wait to use them.

Those look really interesting.  How is the sound with them?  Any good?  I was looking at something similar from Sony, but I'm just not sure how they sound.  I'd really be interested in hearing more about your thoughts on the Samsung SBH 650 if you wanted to share.  The edge that I see the Sony model having is a little better talk time and it is a little cheaper.  It's just if I'm going to drop sixty or seventy bones on a headset, then it better be damn good stuff.

My choices right now are between that Sony headset (or the Samsung one) and the ZBuds.  I guess I could always get the Samsung one and then if I don't like it I can save up my nickels and dimes some more and get the ZBuds later.  I could just plug the ZBuds into the Samsung bluetooth thing and I'd have exactly what I want.  Grrrr.... So torn!!!  I need more money...

I just saw the 30% off discount at the ZAGG site and I couldn't resist.  It makes the price of the ZBUDS about $45.50, so I guess I'll give them a shot.  I suppose if they suck then I can always send them back.  They can't promote themselves as God's gift to audio and not have a return policy. Wink  Shipped the total comes out to $55.63, so I really really really hope they are worth it.  Really.

Bah... No joy.  They won't let me pick it up locally.  They said they could cancel the order and I could come in and buy it, but I wouldn't get the discount I got online.  I got almost $20 off ordering it online and I paid around $7 shipping.  So I would be paying $13 more to get it today versus waiting for them to ship it out Friday and probably get it Monday or Tuesday.  Oh well...  I'm still waiting for my 3.5mm adapter to arrive for the Behold anyway, so no big hurry I guess.  At least I know where to go if they don't work out for me.  Wink
