Well, I got this item in the mail on Thursday, and messed with it all weekend...

The main reason I got it wqas because I hate the way the Behold earphones don't really fit in one's ear, fall out alla time, you gotta position em at just the right angle to get the best sound, and stuff like that...so in terms of the fact that it is an adapter for a "normal" headphone jack makes it worth the money (only five bucks)...I bought myself a pair of in-the-ear earbuds and plugged em in...WOW...never heard music or audiobooks sound so clear and crisp as they do now.

There ARE a couple of drawbacks...first of all, the length of the adapter cord is pretty long, so when you plug in your headphones, the cord is, like, double-long, and unless you shove half of it into your pocket or something you are gonna have cord dangling all over you.

The other thing is the microphone...first of all, because of the length of your earphones that you plug into it, the mic usually ends up in your pocket unless you use the clip and clip it to your shirt RIGHT under your head. Because the sound quality of the mic is not great...had a couple of different phone conversaions with it and both people said I sounded like I was inside a tin can....

But, overall, you can't beat it for five bucks, mainly because it allows you to CHOOSE the kind of earphones you wanna use instead of being forced to use the behold ones...I'll give it a 7.5 out of 10...

Yes, I FULLY agree with "falling out of your ear." I have this awesome sound blocking headphones that are somewhat compact (Not those big bulky ones) so I can listen to music in the car. (Especially when we're on the freeway, I can't hear a thing with those stupid earphones that the phone came with.)
BTW, I bought these.

There's 2 of them, for 99 cents! And they don't have a long cord dragging on to it.

When I bought the adapter the other day for the 3.5mm it said it wouldn't be compatible with headsets that had 3.5mm jacks with them can anyone confirm that?...The only thing I hate about the ones you get with it is the length of the other phone which is alright its just it ends up in my mouth more often then not, lol.
