Hello I am new to the forum and to the behold.  I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good java based calculator app that works with the touchscreen. I have seen several online but have had trouble finding one that works with the behold.  Thanks much for any input.

Unsure if this what you want but this works for me and the most of the types of math that I do:

http://www.getjar.com/products/8584/MathPhone

Unfortunately this is not freeware.

If you are looking for a free product I found something that may serve your purposes well. You have to go here from your phone's browser and download straight to your phone to simplify things. The link is:

http://www.phoload.com/software/207-calc4m

Hope one of these works for you thou. Let me know.

Wow thanks for the fast reply and info.  I tried the free calc and it is alright although the UI takes some getting used to.  I wasn't able to find a version of the other for the t919 is there another model i should look for?

I tried both and I like calc4m a lot. I've tried several other calculators before and I like this most. The other seems very powerful, but since it is not free and I have no intentions of buying it, I did not spend more than  just couple of minutes to try it. BTW, for those who are interested in this paid calc, there is a touch version - http://www.mobile-sciences.com/touchmaths/touchmaths_description.html

I agree, calc4m is a good find. I have it installed and can tell that it'll work well for my needs. BTW, I am not paying either, although the other does looks like a winner.
